
Sterling Silver Presentation Inkstand. Charles Curtis From Noble Brandon Judah
A bold & oversized, sterling silver presentation inkstand with two ink-pots & bell. The entire standish is sterling silver, and each part is hallmarked. Custom ordered and made in London by Charles & Richard Comyns in 1925 by Tiffany in New York, and sold as a presentation item to Noble Brandon Judah to present to Charles B. Curtis.

From 1927 until 1929 Noble Brandon Judah was the American Ambassador to Cuba.
Charles Curtis was the American vice president under Herbert Hoover from 1929 to 1933. Curtis was the first American of Indian ancestry to reach high office.
